This was our second fish fry of this season and man did this one NOT disappoint! They started serving at 5pm; knowing how quickly the last fish fry was out of sides (after only an hour), we decided to head early. Boy, were we glad we did go early as the line was so long only 30 minutes into service.

Even with the long line, this place had a great system and the line moved quickly. Side note, I didn’t realize how expensive these fish fries are though I understand the funds are going to a good cause. This place had a full bar and a legit bar at that (way to go Holy Trinity)! Now JD and I did not partake in the bar as we weren’t drinking at the time though good to know for next year.

Their menu consisted of the following:
MENU:
MEALS    $18.00 per plate
Fried Catfish (2)
Spicy Catfish (2)
Fried tilapia (2)
Combo (1 Regular cat and 1 spicey cat)
Fish Tacos (2)
Baked Cod with Creole sauce (1)
½ pound peel and eat shrimp
Shrimp PO’ Boy
All meals Include 2 sides, bread and desert.

A LA CARTE
SHRIMP- ½ LB $10.00
SHRIMP PO’BOY
COD (1)
CAT (2) $9.00
SPICY CAT (2)
COMBO (1 and 1)
TILAPIA (2)
TACO (1) $5.00
SIDES $3.00 PER DESSERT $3.00 PER

In case you are wondering what the sides were, there were french fries, green bean casserole, cole slaw, roasted potatoes, and a couple others (sorry can’t recall all of them). The dessert was homemade (they had baklava!) and there were about 10 options to choose from.

We both got an entree though I didn’t need that much food. JD got the spicy cat with fries and slaw; I got the shrimp po’boy with green bean casserole and roasted potatoes. SO MUCH FOOD! Everything was so damn good so this will be on the list next year for sure!

As for entertainment, maybe we went too early for this which is ok since we came to eat, we didn’t see anything at 5:30 though the people watching was entertainment enough. We met people who traveled a longer distance than us to enjoy this fantastic fish fry so if you are craving some good food with a great atmosphere, look no further!!
