Knowing that Jess needed to work most of the afternoon, we decided to a morning hike. Lucky for us, our Airbnb host Sara and her sisters Megan and Cass wanted to show us their childhood stomping grounds. When a local wants to show you something, you should always say yes! They needed to drop their kids off at school so we both worked for just over an hour before we headed to the trail. The trail head was about 8 minutes from our place so it was perfect.

Jess had hiked a little bit of this trail when she first arrived but with the waterfall, she didn’t know how to cross so turned around. Sara said that there are actually 3 different waterfalls and that she would show us how to cross. Off we went!

Cass decided to wait for us at the bottom that is why you don’t see her. We continued on to the waterfalls. Both Megan and Sara took off their shoes for the trek to the waterfalls. When in Rome, do as the locals do. We also took our shoes off.

After we all successfully made up the first waterfall, we proceeded on to the next.

Since there wasn’t much to see, we proceeded to the third and final waterfall.

After visiting all three, we headed back down to the car. Megan, Sara, and Cass had family stuff to tend to and Jess needed to get to work. We made it back to the house around 11:30 am were we jumped on the computer to work.
That evening, Jess scheduled both of us 90 minute massages. It was glorious and to my pleasant surprise, we both got adjusted by the Chiropractor there. I will say, I’ve never cracked and popped so much. He even popped my ears! Which was awesome from all of the elevation and my ears hurting. We didn’t get back to the house until almost 10 pm. We were both so relaxed from both things that we headed to bed.
